Your Google numbers next to the audit, no spreadsheets
Search Console is the free Google tool that shows a site’s clicks, impressions and position in search, and GA4 is Google’s service for analyzing visits. Connect your Google account once, with read-only access. Every analysis then brings Search Console clicks, impressions and position, the indexing of your main pages and GA4 sessions, including the ones that came from AI assistants.
How it works
Connect Google
In Integrations, click Connect with Google and grant read-only access to Search Console and GA4. One connection covers every domain in the company account.
Pick the properties
The Search Console property is detected from the domain’s address, or you pick another one. The GA4 property ID is set on each domain.
Read it with the analysis
Every analysis shows the Google data next to the technical findings. In Monitoring, the click trend is read every week.
What you get
Clicks, impressions and position
The last 28 days of Search Console against the 28 before, with the top queries, pages, countries and devices.
Low-CTR queries
First-page queries with 100 or more impressions and a CTR below 1%. The fix is to rewrite the page title and description with a clear promise and the query’s wording.
Almost there
Queries where the site ranks between 4th and 15th with real volume. Deepening the content and internal links of those pages can bring clicks.
Indexing in Google’s own words
URL Inspection checks the home page and up to 9 crawled pages and gives the reason for each page left out of the index, in the report language. It also lists the submitted sitemaps and their errors.
GA4 sessions and channels
Sessions, users, engagement and conversions for the last 30 days against the 30 before, by channel and source. It warns you when GA4 got no visits in the period or stopped receiving them.
Traffic from AI
Separates the sessions that came from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and other assistants, with their share of the total, the change and the landing pages.
Weekly trend
In Monitoring: 16 weeks of clicks and impressions, the queries that lost clicks and the questions the site already shows up for.
Drop alert
If clicks in the last 28 days fall 30% or more against the 28 before (with at least 100 clicks before), the account owners and admins who accept alerts get an email, at most one per domain a week.
What it does not do
- It only sees the properties the connected Google account can see. There is one connection per company, so every domain must be accessible to that account.
- Search Console data runs two or three days behind, so the period analyzed ends three days before the analysis.
- AI traffic counts the sessions GA4 records with an AI assistant as the source. An AI answer that gets no click creates no session and does not show up.
- Access is read-only: Path Ranker does not submit sitemaps, request indexing or change anything in your properties.
Which plans include it
The Google connection (Search Console and GA4) is on the Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans, for every monitored domain in the plan: up to 5, 20 and 100. The Free plan has no integrations.

- No. The access it asks for is read-only on both. You can revoke it any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by clicking Disconnect in Integrations.
- No. Signing in with Google only logs you in. Connecting Search Console and GA4 is always your own action, in Integrations.
- No. You connect your Google account once. Only Google’s authorization and the account email are stored, encrypted; your account password never goes through Path Ranker.
- Check that the connected account can see the property in Search Console and, if the site has more than one, pick the right one on the domain. For URL Inspection, the account needs Owner or Full user access to the property.
- By the session source in GA4: when it is a known AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, the session counts as AI traffic, along with its landing page.
